That’s the opinion of Colin Hair, and he should know, both personally, as an agent with 21 years experience, and as a long-time franchisee of two Harcourts offices at Orewa & Whangaparaoa. Both offices are highly successful, a happy situation Colin says is due in large part to his diligent and mainly long-serving teams of salespeople. Before real estate sales and management, Colin had a 19 year background in banking, a background which even today stands him and his many clients in good stead. Colin says his secret to success is in three parts – one: “In real estate, you have to have high energy levels,” two: “You have to have a positive attitude,” and three: “It’s necessary to have a real passion and enthusiasm for what you do.” He is also an accredited auctioneer, and lives and works locally on the Hibiscus Coast.

Since end 1999 Sabine has lived and breathed real estate. Firstly as an award-winning and highly successful property consultant, and from 2004, in a dedicated management role. The key to Sabine’s success is that, aside from her family, real estate is her great passion, particularly when it comes to simply doing a great job for people, successfully marketing and negotiating on their behalf for what is often their biggest life assets. “I just love it!” she says.
